Dawn is a fine artist and designer whose innovative work is inspired by the natural environment.

Photography and exploratory drawing are the starting points to her processes. She then re-purpose unconventional materials and experiments with traditional media in new ways to create wall-based work which verges on abstraction and sculpture. Her work reflects a preoccupation with edited drawing, the layering of layering light and with surface texture.

Finished pieces include prints, etchings, drawings, textural compositions and mixed media work.

In addition to exhibiting her work nationally, Dawn welcomes visitors to regular Open Studio Events and runs a range of Participatory Workshops.

Interior design and bespoke artwork commissions are also taken.

Dawn’s studio is on the first floor above the Courtyard and only accessible by stairs, however he is very happy to bring work down to visitors by appointment.
