Thoresby Gallery

Free Art Gallery Exhibition - Extinction

25th - 27th July 2023 - 10am - 4pm

Welcome to Thoresby Gallery

Thoresby Gallery was originally established in 1992 to exhibit the Pierrepont Collection – a collection of more than 600 paintings and drawings by Marie-Louise Roosevelt Pierrepont, a prolific painter who married into the Pierrepont family in the early twentieth century.

There is a lovely brief history of The Last Countess Manvers on Holme Pierrepont Hall’s website if you would like to know more about her as an artist.

Over the years Thoresby Gallery has evolved to become an artistic hub that has an eclectic calendar of exhibitions that appeal to a wide audience. Open 7 days a week from 10.00am to 4.00pm, the gallery’s open exhibitions provide local artists with a beautiful space in which to exhibit.

Both professional and amateur artists working locally are encouraged to get involved and make use of the wonderful gallery. For all inquiries please email info@thoresby.com
