Property Manager (12-Month Maternity Cover)

Thoresby Estate
Full Time | £30,000 – £35,000 DOE

Thoresby Estate is looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This varied role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties, alongside the Estate’s holiday let accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Estate’s residential and commercial property portfolio.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, contractors and prospective tenants.
  • Arrange viewings, tenant sign-ups, tenancy documentation and deposit protection.
  • Coordinate inspections, maintenance and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee holiday let bookings, guest communications and property changeovers.
  • Manage booking systems to maximise occupancy and support the marketing of holiday accommodation.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare documentation and provide administrative support across the Estate.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to tenants, guests and visitors.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours rota for property and holiday let issues.

About You

Essential

  • Experience in property management, lettings or a similar property-related role.
  • Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of current landlord and tenant legislation and residential lettings compliance.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software (ideally KeyPrime).
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable

  • Experience managing holiday let accommodation.
  • Familiarity with booking platforms, guest communications and online reviews.
  • Experience with social media marketing and Canva.
