The Lycetts Grantham Cup will be running across the weekend, with some of the Country’s top Horse & Rider Combinations fighting it out to win this prestigious title. Former Winners of the Grantham Cup been Badminton Winners and Olympic Medalists.

Eventing Spring Carnival 2023
The Eventing Spring Carnival is a great family day out with something to do for all. A host of Olympic, World and European medalists will be take part in an equestrian triathlon on the lawns of Thoresby park. This is a unique opportunity to see world class sport at the highest level in this wonderful setting. The event offers spectators the chance to see horses in action over the cross country on all days.

Want to enjoy some traditional fairground attractions? Why not come and have a go at Hook a Duck and the Coconut Shy, try your hand the shooting range, fly in the air with Chair-o-Planes and many more. It is the perfect way to keep the whole family busy!
ARCHERY & AXE THROWING
Are you the next Robin Hood? Why not head to the Tournament Ground Activity Centre and try you hand at Archery? If that is not thrilling enough – you can test your accuracy with Axe Throwing!!
PAKEFIELD FERRETS
Come and watch live demonstrations about ferrets and ferreting over the weekend. Outside his demonstration times you will be able to come and meet the ferrets and have your picture taken!
BLACKSMITH & FARRIER DISPLAY
We are delighted to be welcoming two talented farriers and blacksmiths to Thoresby this year. Across the weekend you will be able to watch them turn bars of metal into incredible household items and delicate horse shoes. They will be showing off their skills and answering any questions you have. Don’t miss this fantastic display!
