Cleaner (casual)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across 2 of our Airbnb properties initially. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; and sanitise bathrooms.
• Laundering all bedding and other necessary items for each property
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment effectively, ensuring they are stored safely and replenished as needed.
• Reporting replenishables and restocking
• Follow all health and safety requirements
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning is essential.
• Knowledge and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to the role.
• A full driving licence
